Today was a great day for kenyans as the whole country was to go before God in prayers. This happens once every year today marking the 19th one. There were many leaders who had attended including president uhuru Kenyatta, deputy president William Ruto, Martha Karua and speaker of national assembly Justin muturi.
When dp Ruto was given a chance to Adress the nation as ussual he had to quote a bible verse. This was after Martha Karua said he was not good in quoting the bible and hence William Ruto had to quote one.
According to DP Ruto he quoted isaih 1:19 but instead he memorized a verse from Romans 3:23. He read the one saying “for we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory” instead of “if you will be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land” which is in the book of Isaiah 1:19.
