Western UDA leaders meets church leaders in preparation of DP Ruto Church event in Kakamega

Religious leaders have banned politics from church. This is after politicians turned churches to campaign rallies and avenues. The church leadership promised not to give any politician an opportunity to speak in Church.

Today UDA western leaders met Church leaders in preparation of deputy president William Ruto church tour in Kakamega county. The deputy president is expected to grace a church service in Kakamega county this Sunday. Various leaders from the region are expected to accompany the deputy president in the county.

The UDA leaders from Western region met Church leaders of Africa Church of holy spirit. The meeting was held at Tumbeni in Malava constituency. Senior church officials attended the consultative meeting. They leaders deliberated on few issues about deputy president tour in the county for a church service.

The leaders were led by former Kakamega senator Bonny Khawlale and secretary general of Kenya national Union of Nurses Mr. Seth Panyako. MCA Mahelo was also present in the meeting. Local UDA party officials were also present in the consultative meeting with the church leaders.
