Emotions are a part of every human's soul that cannot be seen, or heard it can only be felt. In our every day life, our emotions change, depending on the circumstance around us, the people influencing us and even our jobs. Below are 9 types of emotions and what they mean.

1. Bitterness

It shows you where you need to heal especially if someone did wrong to you and where you are still holding judgement on others or on yourself.

2. Resentment

It shows you where you are still living in the past and not allowing yourself to live in the present as it is.

3. Discomfort

It shows that you need to pay attention right now to what is happening because you are being given the opportunity to change to do something different.

4. Anger

Anger shows you what you are passionate about, where your boundaries are and what you believe needs to change about the world or the people around your circle.

It shows that you tried your best for something that did not work out, it may almost feel like failure, though you may still want to try again.

6. Guilt

Guilt shows you have not forgiven and let go of your past mistakes, it may also show you are still living a life in other people's expectations of what you should do.

7. Shame

Shame shows you that you are internalizing other people's belief about who you should be or who you are. You need to reconnect with yourself.

8. Anxiety

It shows that you need to wake up right now and be present. You are stuck in the past and living in fear of the future. It requires to deal with past traumatic experiences.

9. Sadness

It shows the depth of your feeling and how deep you care for others in your circle and in this world at large.
