What Other Kenyans Do on Saturday and Sunday While Others go to Church

Kenya is a country that enjoys the freedom of worship. During the weekend, people are supposed to find time to worship God either on Saturday or Sunday. However, Kenya recognizes Sunday as a day of Worship as all government offices remain closed.

However, not everyone goes to church. To many, these are days of rest from work to visit friends, and family. Others spend the better part of the weekend in pubs and bars drinking and merry-making. Moreover, others go to the market to purchase things to use in the coming week.

Sadly, places of worship are visited by only a handful of people, the majority being the old. The young are busy studying or at common points enjoying themselves. Many people have turned away from God. Atheist are increasingly adding numbers day in day out. Pastors preach in churches, while others virtually, but rarely do people hid to their call to repent.
