The Christian faith professes Christ as the son of the almighty God. About 2000 years ago in the nation of Israel, Christ was given birth to in the house of Joseph and Mary.
At the age of 30 years old, Jesus began his full-time ministry which would only last 3 years after which he would return back to heaven. For the 30 years that Christ was walking on earth, he made significant impact in the many miracles and teachings that he did.
Through the person of Christ, Christianity has spread to almost every corner of the world. Despite his level of influence, he was later betrayed by his close associates who gave him to the authorities where he was punished by crucifixion.
Just immediately before his crucifixion, Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane where he was with his disciples and had prayed the whole night.
As it is recorded in the account of the book or John 18:10-11, while the soldiers were arresting Christ, one of his disciple named Peter took a sword he was carrying and cut of the ear of a soldier called Malchus.
It was at this moment that Jesus had act swiftly and instantly to save the situation and eve rebuke the particular disciple. The reason why Jesus' had to act in a hurry while doing this miracle is because the Roman soldiers and the priests would have accused him of starting a rebellion against the government apart from other accusations.
It was at this moment that Jesus picked up the ear and returned it to its position. All of them would have been accused of treason had Jesus not been fast in saving the situation. This became the last miracle that Jesus did before he was arrested and taken before Pilate.
