"Skull That He Holds And Contemplates With A Book And A Cross" Meet Today's Saint Bruno The Great

Hope you're having a blessing day, 6th October 2021.

As usual life without God is meaningless and we can't do anything on our own. We're humans prone to error and mistakes which at times draw us from our religious lives. We have to build a strong relationship with God, do what pleases Him and abide by the commandments. Following this life of embracing religion, the Catholic church has identified certain individuals as saints. These people died while fighting for their faith and others maintained purity upto death. Gos used as instruments of his work here on earth. They also faced afflictions from the society but still didn't give up on devoting themselves to serve God.

Thus I want us to know much about today's saint Bruno the Great. His year of birth is not well known. At a young age, he decided to devote himself and pursued clerical work. During his priesthood career, Bruno was appointed as the Cologne Archbishop from 1953 upto the time of his death. The church attributes him as the "skull that he holds and contemplates with a book and a cross." He died in Remis in 1965 and was buried in the Monastery of St. Pantaleon which he has just founded.

That's the highlight of Bruno the Great, as we memorize his religious life. Let's continue holding our faith stronger and follow the steps of our beloved saints. For more information about the Catholic church doctrines, remember to follow me.
