African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) ordained minister Pastor Benson Gathungu famously known as Pastor Ben or "Muthee Kiengei" have caused an online uproar after he slammed christians who worship church leaders rather than worshipping God.
In a message that he sent on his official Facebook timeline, pastor Ben claimed that if a pastor can die, it shows that he is a normal human being. Instead, he advised them to focus on worshipping God.
"If you can still move on after your Pastor is dead, then you can also stop worshipping him or her. It's all about the reason of the cross and Christ Jesus being our goal, it has nothing to do with a human being. Put your full focus on Jesus Christ,a pastor is Just a favoured Leader with eternity Thirst Just like you," Pastor Ben posted on Facebook.
