The office of the Deputy President is the second most powerful office in Kenya. Anyone who occupies the office is sure not to escape the publicity that comes with it.
Dorcas Rigathi started appearing more in the limelight this year. She, in the beginning of May, ministered in a church service attended by Dp Ruto. According to reports Dorcas is so religious and runs her own Church in Mathira Constituency, where she spreads the word of God.
Dorcas has been described by some sources as force behind the success of the Mathira Mp, with whom they are blessed with two kids. Besides being a pastor, Dorcas is a successful business lady and is listed among the directors of Wamunyoro Investment, a company owned by the family.
Unlike Rachel Ruto, she has been working behind the scenes to ensure the success of Kenya Kwanza's endeavor to form the next government.
Recently Dennis Itumbi, a digital Strategist in the office of the deputy president recognized her efforts.
"Pastor Dorcas. Mark that name. She works silently in the background but the results she delivers are pointed and wholesome. I have not known her for long, but in three assignments I have observed her deliver the unexpected" Itumbi heaped Praises on Dorcas
