Gospel singer Dennis Mutara laid his father to rest today in Murang'a. The burial was held by a Catholic priest in accordance with the church's traditions and came just days after Dennis Mutara requested for help to offset a hospital bill left by his late dad.
Only two musicians reportedly attended the burial despite him being an icon in the gospel industry.
In a video shared online, Dennis Mutara could be seen using a walking stick to support himself while walking towards his seat.

He looked weak and was in great sorrow following his dad's demise.
The musician had health issues last year and was taken to hospital by well wishers. He had complained that he had to go upcountry after his health was affected by a road accident that he was involved in 2020.
Our sincere condolences to Dennis Mutara during this hard mourning period. May God rest his father's soul in eternal peace.
