For a period of 20 years, Samson judged Israel. In those twenty years, he did great things by the strength of God that was upon him. He was a one man army that needed no sophisticated weapon to wage war against his enemies. He even killed a lion with his bare hands.
In Judges 15, the Bible records of an incidence when the Samson fought and defeated an entire army of Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey. It is recorded that he killed 1000 warriors without the help of any other man. However, he became very thirsty and he therefore called unto God for help.
Samson was very thirsty, and he prayed to the Lord and said, You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant, and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?
And God split open the hollow place that was at Lehi, and water came out of it. And when he drank, his spirit returned and he revived. Therefore the name of it was called En-hakkore [the spring of him who prayed], which is at Lehi to this day.

What can we learn from this story?
God indeed answers prayer. As long as we are in pursuit of his purpose, God will always supply all that we need to make ends meet. In this case, he provided the water that Samson needed for his strength to be revived. So he did not just quench his thirst. He was revived in his spirit and in his strength.
Today, it is my prayer that God will revive you. He will supply all that you need to get back on track. Do not die there when you can call on God and He will help you. He doesn't need the permission of any man. So go ahead and pray:
Almighty God, I call on your name today. You answer when we call, you hear our cry and see each tear that falls. We call upon your name today that you will speedily visit us and meet us at our point of need.
You have enabled us to do great exploits for you. How we pray that you will journey with us till the very end when your purpose for our lives is fulfilled. Like Samson, enrich us with your water that satisfies. Revive our spirits and renew our strength that we will serve you in the best way. Be exalted and glorified, in Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.
