Yesterday night, Pastor Ben Kiengei responded to claims that gospel artists neglected Dennis Mutara during his father's burial.
He wrote that gospel artists should not be blamed because Dennis Mutara also neither supports anyone nor attends burials of their loved ones. He gave an example with when his father died stating that Mutara didn't show up.
Kiengei further urged people especially bloggers to stop attacking gospel artistes because nobody is perfect.
He added that after they held a fundraiser for Dennis Mutara last year when he was ill, bloggers did not follow up on what happened to him afterwards and thus people should stop blaming others for forsaking him since they don't know the reasons.

He however deleted the post a few minutes later.
Dennis Mutara looked weak during the burial held on Thursday. Only two musicians reportedly went to comfort him despite him being an icon in the industry.
