Kenya has a bill of right that guarantees her citizens the right and freedom of worship in any part of the country. The churches that nourish us spiritually include; Catholic, Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), Quakers, Jehovah Kingdom, New Apostolic church and Seventh Day Adventist (SDA).
New twist has emerged following the Dagoreti North member of parliament Hon. Simba Arati claiming that he donated more than Ksh 300,000 to the Nyamagwa catholic parish church in Kisii and not Ksh 100,000 that the church returned back following the disrespect he show to the church on Sunday.
According to the source, Hon. Arati walked out of the church buildings after he was denied a chance to address the congregation despite some lawmamkers who attended the fundraise for the construction of the church were given opportunity to do so.
In the fundraising, Kiminini member of parliament Hon. Chris Wamalwa, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula and Bobasi MP Hon. Obiri Innocent were given opportunity to address the congregation.
In conclusion, Simba Arati has declared that he will contest for Kisii governorship seat on ODM party come August next year.
