A Zambian pastor and his two church congregants buried a member of their church in order to emulate the death and resurrection of Christ.
The congregant who goes by name James Sakara and a member of Zion Church in Zambia located in Chidiza town was to resurrect after three days after being buried alive. However it was unclear if Sakara wanted to be buried on his own will or was persuaded by the pastor and the church member.
Diamond TV a Zambian Based television, took a step ahead, visited the area and interviewed about the whole saga of James Sakara.
The pastor who was called Luckson Phiri and his three church members were interviewed and confirmed that indeed the act happened.
The four men, pastor and his three church members went ahead to demonstrate how they tied his hands, dug a grave and buried him alive. They described how they left him in the grave to resurrect on the third day.
After the third day, the pastor was curious to find out what happened to Sakara who was to resurrect on the third day. They dug up the grave but to their surprise, they found him dead!
After that he was laid to rest but the police officers launched a manhunt for the pastor and the three members for burying Sakara alive.
