Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has informed that they don't want to interfere with the ongoing push by the Bishops to reinstall Uhuru-Ruto bromance stating that the differences between Uhuru and Ruto may be so deeply rooted that the discussions on the truce might not come to pass.
According to Murathe, he has informed that if the bishops want Uhuru and Ruto to reconcile, then they should demand a meeting with the President so that they can first be told the reasons for their parting of ways.
"The Bishops should demand a meeting with the President to be told the reasons for their parting of ways. I'm sure there is some classified information that has informed the President's action," Mr. Murathe has said as quoted by Nation.
Despite Murathe's statements, retired Archbishop Muheria of the African Inland Church [AIC] had informed that when he held a meeting with both President Uhuru and DP Ruto separately, "Efforts to reconcile the two leaders had almost collapsed because of irreconcilable differences between them. President Uhuru expressed his disappointment with his Deputy claim to a 'shared presidency' including exploiting the 2010 Constitution that gives him immunity from being sacked, to allegedly disrespect him."
