A prison is not always a place for a person like a priest. Definitely, a priest should be in a church somewhere preaching the word of God and influencing many people to change and get saved before end times but in Malawi, things were different after a priest surprised many people as he went out of his way and committed a grave mistake that landed him in prison.
According to a Judge known as Dorothy NyaKaunda Kamanga, the priest by the name Thomas Muhosha had planned to traffic 22-year-old MacDonald Masambuka's tissue. It is said that Msambuka was an albino and that is why the priest wanted to traffic his tissue.
"The offence was motivated by the disability of the deceased, that of albinism." Said Dorothy in a ruling handed down in the city of Blantyre.
The Judge finished by sentencing the priest to a 30 years jail term for the mistake he made.
