Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, the President of Kenya, donated ten million Kenya shillings to the Akorino Church today 19June 2022 to assist them in various church activities within the church and in the community at large.
This occurred at the Akorino conference, which was held at the Kasarani stadium in Nairobi to commemorate the church 100th anniversary.
Thousands of Akorino Church officials and church members attended the conference.Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua from the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party also attend.
Despite the ten million Kenya shillings payment to the Akorino church, the head of state also provided the Akorino one million Kenya shillings to distribute the church's history books to each and every conference attendee.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also gave them a title deed to a five-acre plot of land in the Naivasha municipality.
