Kenyans have been left in disbelief following sudden demise of pastor Maryanne Thaituru, commonly known as Wanjeri.

Ndungu Nyoro shared an emotional message of Facebook as he mourned the departure of Maryanne. He wrote "Dear Maryanne Thaituru. The lady 15 hours have been so painful to me and all who love you. Your mum and bro are hurting the most. Sometimes feeling like it's a dream. On that hospital bed, how could you close your eyes to eternity without even a goodbye smile. We are still not at peace Wanjeri. How can we be when we are seeking answers my Friend? Go well Wanjeri.
I pray you find peace and joy in heaven. I pray you read this goodbye text surrounded by angels. See you later. Forever in our hearts."
