Karen was today a beehive of activities after deputy president William Ruto played host to over 250 religious leaders in his Karen home. Today’s meeting coming only hours after he attended another meeting in Kwale and also Taita Taveta where he made bold statements on resigning as deputy president.

William Ruto has continued to defy the government directive on a public gathering which was made a few weeks ago. Several political leaders were present in photos shared on his official social media pages today. Among them were Kandara legislator Wahome Gladys, Rigathi Gachagua, and several other leaders.
Ruto has managed to hos a successful meeting at his home, with today’s meeting Ruto assuring them of his commitment to ensuring that change, peace, harmony, and stability are achieved when he takes over the wheels of power.
