Pope Francis was doing well on Monday after he underwent a surgery of an inflamed large colon.the 84 year was supposed to spend in hospital for at list seven days as reported by the Vatican.
He was admitted to Rome gemelli hospital on sunday for a scheduled operation.
Matteo Bruni the spokesman said that francis is in good condition, alert and breathing well as he is recovering quickly. He added that he is to stay in hospital for about seven days.
A few days earlier, during the feast of saint peter and poul,pope oversaw his illness as he addressed by saying "I want you all to pray in a special way for the pope".
This Wednesday general audience has been put on hold for the summer and he has no other official meeting until on Sunday..
The pope has always dedicated his life to serve the lord all over the world. He has gone to so many countries including when he come to kenya.
Many people can emulate his affectionate love and dedication to serve God.
