What Ruto Revealed About His Elder Sister, Elizabeth And His Mother At Karen Today [Video]

While addressing fellow congregants that had converged at his Karen residence chapel for a fellowship today on August 14th, Deputy President William Ruto ended up praising some of his family members for greatly contributing to the values and principles he holds as a christian today.

A seemingly composed DP attributed his character and beliefs to the environment that he's been raised in and the people around him, with the most notable ones being his mother Mama Sarah Cherono Cheruiyot, his elder sister Pastor Elizabeth Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto.

That its because of them that he's a staunch christian who is never ashamed of proclaiming or defending his faith and can't hide from championing the spread of the word of God.

On this, he started by saying that "in some cases, a lot of people have been wondering why it is that from all corners, that's left, right centre I am all about God.

I think you've seen my mother today. She's someone who prays for me. Then my elder sister whom I follow is here as well. She's called Elizabeth and she's a pastor.

My wife is also a prayer warrior. So mimi sina mahali ya kujifificha ikikuja kwa mambo ya Mungu."

He then went ahead to say that "to those who get angry about me because of my support for God's work should just persevere or excuse me because I really have nowhere to hide.

I am surrounded by very prayerful people and that's why I think many a times people are concerned about my relationship with God, sometimes complaining that I am too much of a Christian but unfortunate that's the reality. That's how things are and I can't hide from the word of God.
