Rift Valley Churches Bishops Decry Unfair Treatment by Leaders

The churches in Rift Valley region lead by bishops have decried the unfair treatment by leaders who are currently only visiting churches in the Mount Kenya region giving out huge contribution which has been viewed by many Kenyans as a massage to the deputy president William Ruto to also start visiting churches in other regions.

The bishops said that the region also has churches just like Mount Kenya does and several construction projects where some of them are stall due to shortage of funds which can be sorted out when leaders start visiting them and ended up requesting for their shares.

This come at a time when most churches are banning political leaders from using the church podium to spread their political influence which has been causing a lot of division among Kenyans, many have judged the bishops demanding to be visited by leaders as unfocused for they should concentrate in spreading the word of God.
