How To Walk The Path Of Christ

Astronomers do not search for life on celestial bodies where the existence of water is not a possibility, instead, they search for the proper medium they know must be present to give birth to live. What is frozen and unable to be penetrated or what is vaporized and volatile cannot be used unless energy is first absorbed or dissipated, respectively. A proper state or vessel is first necessary that will be able to absorb the light of the heavenly star.

The solar systems of the night skies are gazed upon with powerful telescopes at specific ranges for another earth where size and the planetary-solar distance are similar to our own. Man indeed searches for life, searches for eternity, and searches to be of similar likeness to something much greater than themselves.

Man is not his creator, nor can anyone save themselves – the hardened heart may never hear and the agitated mind may never see. If men searched for God and formed a relationship with Him, they would find the springing waters of salvation in the depths of the great abyss of the skies overhead.

The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters” Gn 1:2. Creation of life does not occur by mere chance, just as certain properties are given to specific elements and laws govern the earth and heavens in already a set motion.

The universe, however large it may be, is ordered, and in this order, we seek to make sense of what takes place sometimes above our intelligence or senses. There is a higher order of knowledge that cannot be understood and remains unseen, yet man constantly searches and tries to grasp its content. Whether it is infinitesimally small or large, it remains blind to our eyes by the world we have come to know.

A man searches for solid ground to walk upon and seeks not to drown among the waters of the seas. God however separated the waters of the Red Sea through the staff of Moses, and the crowds gathered and followed through faith the word that God spoke through the prophets. “Then God said, ‘Let there be an expanse amid the waters and let it separate the waters from the water's” Gn 1:6.

As God separated the waters from the waters and divided heaven and earth, God has made a path for men to walk upon by His word through the Church, and in union with Himself. Christ walks upon the waters, has control of the seas and the winds, and from Him surge the endless and springing waters of salvation which may be found to quench every man’s thirst.
