Forgiveness is not easy, it is very hard to forgive someone who has caused pain in your heart. Anger boils in you and hate fills your soul, in most cases, you will not want to see that person let alone speak with them. Every time you think of the atrocity committed to you, you will lack peace of mind. However, there is a way to free yourself from that misery, forgiveness.

How can I forgive such a mistake? many Christians will ask that question in their hurts. The reality of the matter is that we are imperfect as human beings, we all make mistakes. Jesus Christ of Nazareth lived a life full of forgiveness desire his undeserved suffering for us to be cleansed of our sins. The Romans nailed him to the cross, the Israelites wanted him to be hanged, the Pharisees accused him falsely in order to crucify him. Yet on the cross, he said these words, "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do".

When you forgive you lift a burden from your heart. You are not a judge to judge each and everyone in your life, your only responsibility as a Christian is to forgive that person today. It will not be easy, but in the end, it will open the doors of blessings in your life. How many times have you committed sin to Lord and how many times have you asked forgiveness from the Lord? Why then is it hard for you to forgive just as your father in heaven is ready to forgive you?

Forgive them even if they don't ask for it so that your debt will be repaid by God himself.
