Since the outbreak of Covid-19 disease in Kenya, political activities were suspended in a move to curb the spread of the deadly virus. At some point churches were allowed to operate but the public gatherings were still prohibited and hence the church turned out to be a place to take refuge in by politicians in Kenya but more worse is that the churches turned out to be stages to drive political agendas, this made some church heads in Kenya to ban politicians from speaking in the churches.
Today William Ruto attended a church service in Isiolo county and he got the opportunity to address the congregants, the deputy president took the opportunity to persuade the church leaders to allow politicians in churches, he said that more especially those who started to attend the churches recently should be allowed for they do not know what to do, here is the link;
