Following the notice passed by the court last week concerning the issue of homosexuality, where a man can marry the same man and a woman can marry with the same gender, has irritated the ears of both governors, Members of Parliament, Members of the County Assembly, and even none government officials, but mostly Christians and even some atheists.
In other words, most people in Kenya have condemned the act passed by the Supreme Court about someone marrying someone of the same gender. With this, many Kenyans have talked about it and have fully supported what the current chairman of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Johnson Muthama, has said.
Muthama in support of the Bible verse from which he quoted from the Book of Leviticus, if you read right from Chapter 18:22–23. Then you jump to Chapter 20 of the same book, Leviticus 20:13, which Muthama specifically quotes, and you will definitely find the answer.
Chapter 18:22–23 says, "Though it shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is an abomination." Verse 23 says, "Neither shall thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; nor shall any woman stand before the beast to lie down thereto; it is confusion." God said.
In Chapter 20:13, it says if a man also lies with mankind as he lied with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. That's what the Bible says.
He finalises his sentiment by saying the Supreme Court has erred in ratifying LGBTQ rights and homophobia in Kenya. This is against the Word of God and our African culture.
