Mike Sonko's eldest daughter Saumu Mbuvi has revealed that she faced one of the darkest moments in her life last year. Taking to her Instagram stories, Saumu shared an emotional video and recalled how her daughter found her locked in a room crying while holding a Bible.
All she could do is wipe her mother's tears. While Saumu did not disclose what she was going through at that time, she said God came through.
She didn't even know that her daughters recorded the emotional moment. '' I was really broken and God showed up for me. I didn't even notice they recorded it,'' she wrote.
The mother of two said she would like her daughters to grow up knowing that they have a strong mother. Her strength comes from God and her love for her daughters.
Saumu said she doesn't want negative energy this year. She has promised to cut off ties with anyone with negative vibes. All she wants this year is to be happy.
Saumu further said that the new version of her is unapologetic about putting herself and her two daughters first. Below is a screenshot of her post on her Instagram stories where she talks about going through tough moments last year.
