Moses Wetang'ula Wants DCI to Probe Fake Social Media Account

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has distanced himself from a social media post in a pseudo account targeting the Muslim community.

Citizen Digital has established that the fake Facebook account (Hon. Moses M Wetangula) directed an offensive rebuke regarding the Muslim call to prayer. The call to prayer, known as 'adhan', announces specific times for a particular obligatory prayer.

The National Assembly Speaker has now cautioned Kenyans against falling prey to fake social media accounts impersonating government officials. This comes as online DCI sleuths have begun to track down several social media users who have been impersonating senior government officials.

It's coming to the end 2022 and Muslims should also embrace technology and buy alarm clocks or set alarms on their classy phones. There is really no sense in appointing someone to be yelling at the whole estate at 4 am in the name of waking them up to go pray. However, the fact-checker has established that the Facebook page is fake.
