Rose Muhando was born in a Muslim family. Her father was a sheikh and they were brought up with the same faith. She loved her religion and enjoyed following the rules until when she became very sick. The sickness brought her so much pain and sorrow as her parents tried every possible way, including seeking traditional doctors, to find treatment for her but their efforts bore no fruits. One day, she saw a vision and that's when she changed her religion. She is a gospel musician and songwriter.
The songstress has never been married but is blessed with three children. She had sworn to never marry but she has changed tune because in her latest post, she was praying for God to give her a rich, Mzungu husband.
Her post sparked mixed reactions with some people claiming that she is too old to be making such prayers. Maybe they are just forgetting that God responds to our hearts desires without looking at age.
