Nairobi is a center to some of the largest places of worship in the country. With all them closed due to coronavirus pandemic, all hears will be on president Uhuru Kenyatta to know if they will be opened as the task force formed by Dr Matiang'i prepares thier report. The following is a collection of some of the largest Protestant churches in Nairobi by membership and popularity and who founded them.
1. Maximum Miracle Centre.

Bishop Pius Muiru and wife Lucy Muiru minister at the Maximum Miracle Centre. The church, one of the oldest in town is based in CBD along Latema Road formally based at the Odeon Cinema. The church has one Sunday service in Ruaraka church by Pius Muiru as wife ministers in town church.

2. Neno Evangelism Center.

The church is located along the CBD, along the Haile Selassie avenue.

The church owns the Sasa TV, a religious TV channel that airs the church activities.
3. JIAM - Jesus is Alive Ministry.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, Founder JIAM.
The church is also based in CBD along Haile Selassie avenue. Bishop Wanjiru won the Starehe constituency MP in 2007 and was appointed assistant minister in Housing. In 2013, she vied for Nairobi Senator where she lost to Sonko. Her son won Starehe constituency MP.
4. Jesus Teaching Ministry, JTM

The church is based in CBD, Haile Selassie avenue between Neno and JIAM. The church owns Aviation TV and the popular Aviation college.
5. Christian Fellowship Foundation, CFF
The CFF is found at Uhuru Highway Bunyala road junction. The founder, Harrison Ng'ang'a became popular when he presided over the burial ceremony of musician Kamaru, where president Uhuru was attending.
6. Deliverance Church
The church is led by bishop Mark Kariuki. It located in Kahawa House, Haile Selassie avenue.
7. Around the Globe Ministries
The church is led by Bishop Francis Musili. Based in the famous Uchumi Stores, ATG owns the ATG radio and the Deliverance TV
