The End of a Race as Church of God Bishop dies at The Age Of 88

After just a short battle with disease, the Arch Bishop of the Church of God passed away at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.

The man had a short history of illness. This included a diagnosis of high blood pressure in July, of which he recovered fully. Later however he was found with muscle problems that required surgery. After his surgery, he showed signs of getting better but death lied coldly around him. His medical history was told by his widow Grace Mukokha.

Arc Bishop Byrum Makhoka has had a great influence in the East African region with many followers in his Church. The church is in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The church headquarters is situated at Kima, Luanda Constituency in Vihiga.

Of more importance he has contributed in the education sector by help to spring up schools including Bunyore girls, Ibubil Girls

Mwila boys secondary schools among others.

He lived to a ripe age of 88.
