State House is the official residence of the President. There are several activities which are done in the office of the President within the building. The incumbent President recently welcome religious leaders comprising of clergy and pastors to bless it before they could reside.
This sparked debate online especially after the first lady Mama Rachael Ruto promised to hold religious sessions at Statehouse periodically.
Today, the Muslim community leaders gave their view on their absence during the prayer sessions at Statehouse. According to a video shared by K24 on twitter, they said that Muslims don't have a problem if the President host his visitors at Statehouse. They said the he a choice of his way of doing things and worship is a freedom provided by the constitution.
Hassan Ole Naado said that Kenyans should not be distraught by the involvement of church in Statehouse. He said that the agenda of Muslim just like other religions is to ensure that the country remains united and peace is achieved.
