There are several churches in Kenya which are over 4000 when counted. All these churches are entitled to spread the word of God and change people's lives. However, government of Kenya often regulates the existing churches such that they are often required to file their financial returns with audited accounts for the financial year.
The churches are also required to declare their assets, liabilities and bank statements of all accounts. This is for monitoring purposes as well as taxing. Therefore, following the details gathered by government, Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) is the richest church in the country.
The church records up to billions of shillings in a year. Besides, the church boasts over 15 branches a cross the country and it is also known to own Hope FM, one of the most popular Radio Station in Kenya.
