According to the video shared, Makokha was given a chance to introduce himself to the mourners, after a brief introduction Makokha then claimed that the luyha community are written in the bible by claiming that when pastors says 'hallelujah' and if you remove the 'halle' you remain with pronunciation related to the luyha tribe which is found in the western part of the country.
"Sisi Waluyha tuko ndani ya Bibilia, sa ile mnaenda kanisa na mnaambiwa na pastor si mnasemanga 'hallelujah' ebu toa hiyo 'halle' inqbaki nini?" Comedian Makokha said causing cheers and laughter from the mourners.
Makokha had joined other veteran comedians like Mogaka, Ondieki,, Alexander among others in paying a tribute to the late Gibson Mbugua who was acting in the Vioja Mahakani show.
