Mombasa County Governor Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir says that his County Government has implemented the full waiver of land rates for places of worship across all faiths as they work to support the key work that churches perform in the society. He said this while in a church service at ACK Memorial Cathedral where he was accompanied by Azimio la Umoja party leader Raila Odinga.
"I have always held the belief that any leader elected in Mombasa must be a leader for all regardless of religion, color and ethic persuasion. This is because Mombasa is one of the most cosmopolitan counties in the entire Republic. My administration is founded in the preservation of our society's unity and cohesion", Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir stated.
"Within the first 100 days of your new government, we have implemented the full waiver of land rates for places of worship across all faiths as we work to support the key work that they do in our communities", Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir stated.
