Students from Michuki Technical Training College are in mourning after two of their colleagues drowned in River Mathioya on Sunday evening as they went for a picnic.
It is reported that a group of students had decided to take a nature walk and they visited the river to pass away the afternoon.
While at the river banks, some of the students decided to take snaps as is the custom for young guys in an outing.
It is during the time of photo taking that a female student, Hellen who had just joined the college slipped and fell on the river. She was immediately swept away by the ranging waters.
