The Anointing of God is a seal of approval that God Almighty is with you. The Anointing compels God to fight all the battles that his Anointed one is facing. God honours his Anointing to an extent that he warned kings not to dare touch his Anointed ones. Psalms 105:15.
The Anointing is what breaks every yoke of oppression! Isaiah 10:27. Jesus Christ performed miracles because of the Anointing! Acts 10:38.
LESSONS FROM THE PHARISEES.
1.The Pharisees are interesting people, because they cannot heal anybody, they are bothered on why Jesus keeps healing the sick on Sabbath.
Some people were there who wanted to accuse Jesus of doing wrong; so they watched him closely to see whether he would heal the man on the Sabbath.
Jesus was angry as he looked round at them, but at the same time he felt sorry for them, because they were so stubborn and wrong. Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and it became well again.
So the Pharisees left the synagogue and met at once with some members of Herod's party, and they made plans to kill Jesus.
2. Because they cannot cast out an evil spirit, they are on the mission to blasphem the Holy Spirit by saying Jesus is operating by the demon called Belzebub.
You say that I drive out demons because Beelzebul gives me the power to do so. Well, then, who gives your followers the power to drive them out? What your own followers do proves that you are wrong!
No, it is not Beelzebul, but God's Spirit, who gives me the power to drive out demons, which proves that the Kingdom of God has already come upon you.
3 .They search the scriptures thinking by doing so they will inherit eternal life! They have eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear! There hearts are far from the saving grace of Christ. Be careful lest you kill innocent souls thinking you are serving Christ.
You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures speak about me! Yet you are not willing to come to me in order to have life .
Pay attention, you foolish and stupid people, who have eyes, but cannot see, and have ears, but cannot hear. I am the Lord; why don't you fear me? Why don't you tremble before me? I placed the sand as the boundary of the sea, a permanent boundary that it cannot cross. The sea may toss, but it cannot go beyond it; the waves may roar, but they cannot break through. But you people! You are stubborn and rebellious; you have turned aside and left me.
