Life is full of ups and down .But no matter where you are from you can make it in life .Being born in a poor background do not mean you can't make it .

After being born blind he didn't loose hope in life . Although his parents abadoned him he still chased his dream of being a pilot . His grandmother came to his rescue where some nun from their catholic church offered to help him .

He joined school at the age of seven . Luckily after completing his primary school Daniel Ondongo joined Thika school for the blind . Luckily he got a good grade where he had a chance to join Kenyatta University .

Fortunely after joining Kenyatta University a friend of his told him the importance of having surgery .This was to enable him see . After undergoing several surgeries he was able to see .

Life in the University was not easy for him .He would repair shoes and was clothes to make ends meet .

Daniel later shared his story in one of the media houses and people opted to help him pay his school fees .He joined aviation college for his course in piloting . He is now living hi dream of being a pilot .

He works at Wilson Airport . Daniel is also giving back to the society in various ways like giving hope to students .
