Are you Offended By the Cross?

Let us briefly turn to (Galatians 5:11KJV) "And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I suffer persecution? then is the offense of the cross ceased."

As Christians, the answer to all our problems is found at the cross if we only could repent of our sins, and come to the cross. But the expressions and the offense of the cross are very strange to our modern years because it is a symbol in our churches and is also imposed on our Bibles, and it is okay, but it has become sentimental, what it stands for is an offense, it is a place where Jesus Christ was despised and rejected by men. and it has become a stumbling block and a scandle for men and women.

Isaiah 53:2KJV "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." The cross is an offense because it condemns the evil of the world. King Herod did not like the cross, because the cross condemned his adultrous life. If you come to christ you must leave immorality.
