Bishop John Kairu has been mourned by his friends, congregants and several Nyandarua county leaders on social media through emotional messages.
"My friend Bishop John Kairu has rested. I worked under Bishop Kairu in Nyandarua County government and in the bargain got a brother. The late Bishop Kairu, third from left, is seen in this February 2020 photo receiving instruments from H.E. Governor Francis Kimemia establishing the Governor's Service Delivery Unit. It is devastating. I lack words to express my shock, grief and profound sadness. My prayers to God to grant his family and the entire congregation at Jesus Revival Centre the fortitude to bear the loss. I share in your loss." Wrote Chege Thiari.
Nyandarua County governor Francis Kimemia also wrote a condolences message to the family of Bishop Kairu stating that he will remember the late Bishop for his wise counsel and tender heart.
"I write this condolence message to the family of our brother, the late Bishop John Kairu. Bishop Kairu, whom we lost today, was a man with a tough mind but tender heart in a fast-changing public square. I will remember him for helping in my campaigns and wise counsel as he shepherded the Governor’s Service Delivery Unit in its formative years. May God grant our beloved friend and Bishop eternal rest" He wrote in part.
Ibrahim Maina on the other hand wrote; "It is a sad evening to the people of Nyandarua county, may God give us the strength and courage to accept what is beyond our control. We have lost a selfless God fearing man who expressed utmost humanity in his service. You have moulded and mentored many young men and women to be who they are today, your legacy lives on. It was a good fight, kept Faith, you have finished the race. May your soul rest in peace Bishop John k"
May Bishop Kairu rest in peace and may God comfort his family during this hard period of mourning the loss.
