The deputy president William Ruto today held a meeting with leaders at his residence in Karen where they discussed various issues ahead of the next general election. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the leaders who attended a meeting with Ruto agreed to support this presidential bid in the August general election.
The leaders who attended a meeting with him includes the Mathira member of parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua, Hon Kimani Ichungwa, United Democratic Alliance party chairman Hon Johnson Muthama, Jonas Kuko who dropped his parliamentary bid, Hon Bernard Wambwa among other leaders.
The deputy president William Ruto on his speech urged the leaders to work together so that they can have one agenda of transforming our nation. Despite that, the leaders agreed to work with Kenya kwanza team so that they can give Ruto full support in the coming general election. Remember to maintain peace among each other during this time of campaign.
