Omanga said this on her twitter handle after posting a photo of her receiving the covid 19 jab earlier today. She has urged Kenyans to take the vaccine terming it as safe for people.
"Your favourite senator receiving COVID-19 vaccine shot earlier today. It's safe and I reccomend it to all Kenyans. Now you know I'm harmless," she captioned.
Some of her followers wondered why she referred herself as a senator despite being removed from the seat by jubilee party earlier this year.
Omanga together with other nominated jubilee senators that are allied to deputy president William Ruto were removed following their involvement in the by-election held on 4th march where they campaigned for the candidate of the newly formed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) that is linked to the deputy president.
