Taking to his Twitter account, the vocal legislator poked holes into the narrative using a famous quote by Johann Von Goethe which states that " The best slave is one who thinks he is free".
He accompanied the post with a picture of a previous event where some Kenyans had been carrying placards labelled 'Hustler Nation' and a picture of a wheelbarrow, which is a symbol of DP Ruto's associated newly formed party United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
However as the commoners were on the ground with the placards, an anonymous top leader probably DP William Ruto or one of his allies was flying in a white and black chopper.
Through the quote Hon. Edwin Sifuna trolled the Hustler narrative propagated by DP Ruto and his allies for allegedly misleading Kenyans, and hinted that some believe it because they hope that it will give them a better future.
This is because through the narrative, the leaders have been on record saying that they seek for the empowerment of the underprivileged and youths in the society (hustlers).
They have also gone ahead and donated out wheelbarrows and handcarts, as important tools to be used by the alleged hustlers in order to put food on their table and fend for their families.
However the pro-Ruto leaders have been endlessly trolled by the pro-Raila and pro-Uhuru leaders for allegedly not practicing what they preach.
This is because as they hand over wheelbarrows to Kenyans, they themselves usually drive away in expensive cars and choppers.
President Kenyatta has also been on record trolling DP William Ruto for allegedly misleading Kenyans and giving them false hopes through his narrative, instead of supporting the alleged good proposals in the BBI that will offer tangible solutions.
