Professor Magoha Should Be Listening And Understanding, Raila Tells Him

Raila Amolo Odinga, former prime minister has now told Prof. Magoha to be listening and understanding. While speaking over CBC issues, Raila said it's expected to have resistance.

Resistance is not an issue, human beings are conservative in nature. Thy are like cows which when shown the road to the water point will always keep it. Whenever the direction is to be changed, opposition and resistance is experienced.

Raila said some countries such as Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania had adopted the CBC system. Therefore, Kenya would not be the first to implement it. It has already shown positive impacts in such countries.

Raila warned of too much resistance. He told the professor to allow public participation and fully educate the public. He urged the sector to find an amicable solution to avoid alot of repulsion.

Introduction of CBC in the country has raised alot of concerns. It real faced opposition from the public and even the law society of Kenya. This is because nothing more is known of the system. For instance, upto now its not known which group of teachers will be teaching junior and senior secondary. It's not known which schools will be for junior and which one will be for senior.

CBC implementation may be poor as for now. However, we are hoping for the best. Thanks.
