Today, the new cabinet secretary for transport, hon Kipchumba Murkomen who is the former Senator of Elgeyo Marakwet county has come out to issue a statement after Kenya Airways pilots issued a strike notice to the goverment.
As reported by the NTV News, Murkomen said that it is very unfair for the pilots to test the new administration with the strike notice. According to Murkomen. He went ahead to say that he hopes that a best solution will be found within the shortest time possible to solve this problem which has affected more than 10,000 passengers in and outside the country so far.
"It's unfair for the pilots to try and test the new administration with the strike... we are hoping that a decision will be reached as soon as possible... about 10,000 passengers have been affected so far." Said hon Kipchumba Murkomen as quoted by NTV.
