The Azimio la Umoja is determined to only win the presidential vote in the country but to also ensure they win the majority seats in both the national assembly, county assemblies and the Senate.
The move is aimed at ensuring that in case the retired former prime minister wins the presidential the election he will have an easier time carrying out the government agendas.
As the clock ticks, every minute counts for the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya alliance to complete the zoning process it started in its stronghold few days ago.
The zoning process is aiming at reducing competition among the parties forming the coalition and thus denying their competitors an easier win.
Azimio has only less than 24 hours to complete the zoning process process and submit the names of their favorite candidates to the independent and boundaries commission failure to which the window period given by the commission will have elapsed.
