Kenya's President William Ruto made a humorous remark after he criticized the Law Society of Kenya's President, Erick Theuri, for taking him to court after he appointed some of the country's top officials.
During the launch of the country's new administration of justice, President Ruto criticized Theuri for taking him to court. He also said that Theuri did not organize any protests after failing to win his petition. The president's comments left the crowd in a laughing frenzy.
Political experts have noted that Ruto's comments were an indirect hit to Raila, who is currently planning on holding protests following his loss in the election petition he filed against the president. Theuri had approached the court to challenge the appointment of the country's top officials.
Ruto lost a case filed by Theuri, who tried to prevent him from appointing the Principal Secretaries.
