Today Makau Mutua has warned President William Ruto and his team to forget about any election soon. Makau who is the Azimio la Umoja spokesman said that should UDA succeed in kicking out the embattled four commissioners of the IEBC, no election will be held.
“UDA needs to know that if through a kangaroo process in Parliament or without it dismisses and replace the IEBC four that the 2027 elections and any by election won’t take place. Period,” Makau said.
This has happened just before by elections have been conducted in Elgeyo Marakwet, Kandara and Garissa where MPS respectively resigned after being chosen as CS’s in different positions in the government.
There has been a political war between Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza over the fate of the 4 IEBC commissioners under parliamentary probe. The four IEBC official have been accused of trying to subvert the will of Kenyans in the general election.
