
While speaking to joint media coverage at his Karen home, Hon Rigathi Gachagua stated that media should remain fair at all times.

He posed " I request the media to be fair, just like you are free to criticize the government and to criticize anything under the sun, you too must allow people to criticize you, affirm you where you do well, encourage you and point out where you are failing"
He allegedly claimed that he was denied airtime by one of the local Kikuyu Tv stations two days before the elections.
He stated that the station good him to keep his 4.6 million despite him paying earlier for the same.
Hon Rigathi further stated that he respects the media and that the Kenya kwanza government is ready to support the media on the condition that they become fair.
