Deputy president William Ruto is mourning following the sudden death of Mzee Benard Kathanga who was a mau mau fighter during the colonial period in a bid of fighting for liberation of Kenya from the colonial power. However, Interior cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i has highlighted details ahead of August election as far as security is concerned. Speaking during the the pass out police cadets at Kiganjo, CS Fred Matiang'i affirmed that August election will be conducted peaceful as security will be tightened. Matiang'i said that security system is ready for the August general election.
