Chaos Witnessed in DP Ruto's Busia Tour After Youth Barricade Roads to Bar His Motorcade

Chaos ensued at DP Ruto's campaign rally in Busia County after irate youth barred his motorcade.

Ruto embarked today on his second and final day of touring the county to popularize his 2022 presidential bid. According to him, the rally was aimed at meeting and having a empowerment conversation with the youth, small enterprises and women.

The DP was in the company of other vocal leaders led by MPs Didmus Barasa, Aden Duale, Ben Washiali and Dan Wanyama.

During the visit, the DP was welcomed by a huge crowd and promised to create a government centered by the the youth and the interests of the common Kenyans.

The tour was however not all smooth. According to a report via Citizen TV, chaos erupted after a section of youth barred Ruto's motorcade by inserting barriers along the road.

The report comes a few days after digital strategist Dennis Itumbi, a close ally of the DP, requested Kenyans to give a chance to every politician to express their agenda peacefully after ODM party leader was allegedly booed and heckled on his Mt Kenya tour in Meru and Tharaka Nithi Counties.
